Kamala Harris assures crowd she is ‘not eating gummies’ to cope with stress
Vice President Kamala Harris was interviewed Monday in Michigan by Maria Shriver, the former first lady of California. Shriver noted that many voters feel unfamiliar with Harris and asked her to share more about herself.
Harris, who launched her campaign only in July after President Biden stepped aside, stated, “I am a wife, a mother, a sister, and a godmother. I love to cook, and I began my career as a prosecutor.”
When discussing stress relief, Shriver mentioned how many Americans are turning off the news and finding solace in activities like yoga. Harris joked about not indulging in gummies but admitted to struggling with sleep. She emphasized the importance of voting, encouraging citizens not to feel powerless: “That’s not in our nature.”
