Huntsville Lawn Company Uses Robots for Yard Work

When Divya Thakur, the founder of Yard Robotics, moved to Huntsville, Alabama, from San Francisco in 2020, he expected some changes. However, one thing that surprised him was how many people spent their weekend mornings mowing their lawns.
Thakur, who has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto, noticed this and combined it with his past experience in the self-driving car industry. This led him to create Yard Robotics, a lawn care service that uses robots to handle yard maintenance.
