Auburn Prepares for SEC Opener: Key Player Updates from Week 4 Practice
Auburn football's Week 4 Tuesday practice highlights key player updates as they prepare for their SEC opener against Arkansas. Injured players return to the field.
Auburn football hit the practice field on Tuesday to get ready for their upcoming SEC opener against Arkansas this Saturday.
The media was allowed to watch about 10 minutes of the session, which mainly involved drills. Here’s a summary of what we noticed:
-
Wide receiver Cam Coleman, who missed last week's game due to a shoulder sprain, was present but wearing a yellow non-contact jersey, meaning he’s still recovering.
-
Right tackle Izavion Miller, who sat out the New Mexico game because of a hip flexor strain, was back at practice without any noticeable restrictions.
-
Cornerback Kayin Lee, who missed the New Mexico game with a calf strain, was also practicing without any obvious limitations.
Additional Observations:
- With Miller’s return, the starting offensive line looked like it did before his injury. Percy Lewis seems to be the front-runner for the left tackle position, ahead of Tyler Johnson.
Auburn continues to fine-tune its lineup as it prepares for the crucial game against Arkansas.
